Sagging skin,cellulite andstretch marks

Looser skin, dimpling and stretch marks are common and natural, and the right treatments can help skin look smoother and firmer.

Treating body skin under the surface

What is happening in the skin

All three come down to the skin's support structure. Collagen and elastin keep skin firm and springy; when they thin or stretch, skin loosens. Cellulite forms where fat pushes up against the bands of connective tissue under the skin, and stretch marks are small tears in the deeper layer of skin when it stretches faster than it can adapt.

Why it happens

Natural aging, weight changes, pregnancy and growth spurts are the most common causes. Hormones, genetics, circulation and sun exposure all play a part too, which is why even very fit people can have cellulite or stretch marks.

Our approach at Pearl Med Spa

We start with a body assessment to look at the area, your skin and your goals. From there we build a plan that works beneath the surface: gentle heat to tighten and stimulate collagen, circulation support to smooth the look of cellulite, and collagen-building treatment for the texture of stretch marks. Results build over a series of sessions, with no downtime.

Three common body skin concerns

Sagging, loose skin

Skin that has lost some firmness, often on the abdomen, arms and thighs, especially after weight loss or pregnancy. RF heat prompts fresh collagen to help skin gradually look tighter and firmer.

Cellulite

A dimpled, orange-peel texture, most often on the thighs, hips and buttocks. It is extremely common and not a sign of being unfit. RF treatment with lymphatic massage supports circulation and smooths its look over a series.

Stretch marks

Lines that start pink, red or purple and fade to silver or white over time, often on the abdomen, hips, thighs and breasts. Newer marks usually respond best, and collagen-building treatments can soften their texture and colour.

Our solutions for body skin

Each one is chosen after your body assessment, and they are often combined for the best result.

RF Body Contouring

Body skin questions

Can cellulite be removed for good?

Cellulite can't be removed permanently, but its look can often be smoothed. A series of sessions followed by occasional maintenance keeps skin looking its best.

Do older stretch marks respond?

Newer, pink or red marks usually respond best. Older silver or white marks can still soften in texture, but the change is more gradual. Your esthetician will tell you what is realistic.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients need a series of sessions spaced about a week or two apart. We will map out a plan after your body assessment.

Does it hurt?

RF body contouring feels like a warm massage, and EMS like an intense workout without the effort. Microneedling is done with numbing cream for comfort.

Is there downtime?

RF and EMS have no downtime. After microneedling, the area may be pink for a day or two.

Can I be treated after pregnancy?

Yes, once you are fully recovered and no longer breastfeeding. Tell your esthetician so we can plan the right timing.
