EMS BodySculpting
Electrical impulses trigger deep, repeated muscle contractions to tone and define, beyond what exercise alone reaches.
30–45 min Per treatment area. No downtime.
What to expect
EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) uses gentle electrical impulses to trigger deep muscle contractions, the kind a voluntary workout cannot reach. Applicators placed over the target area send signals that mimic the way your brain activates muscle fibres, only more intensely and consistently.
It gives muscle tone a boost, whether you are already active and want to push past a plateau or want support in areas that are hard to target.
Step by step
Consultation and goals
We talk through your goals and choose the target area together.
Applicator placement
Applicators are positioned over the area for even, consistent contact.
EMS session
Impulses trigger a series of deep contractions: intense, not painful, and adjusted to your comfort.
Aftercare
No special downtime. Light hydration and movement are all that is recommended.
How it helps
Deeper muscle engagement
The impulses reach muscle fibres more intensely and consistently than a typical workout, building tone in the treated area.
It works while you relax
You lie back while the applicators do the work: nothing to hold, no reps to count.
A boost to your routine
EMS pairs well with an active lifestyle, adding to the work you already put in.
Non-invasive
No needles, no downtime. Most clients go straight back to their day.
Popular areas
Your esthetician will help you choose where to start.
Abdomen
A popular starting point for supporting core definition.
Glutes
Supports a lifted, more toned look in the area.
Thighs
Targets tone in an area that is hard to reach through exercise alone.
Arms
Support for definition in the upper body.
Common questions
Is EMS a good fit for me?
It suits clients who are already active and want to support tone in specific areas, and those looking for a boost alongside a healthy routine. Your esthetician can confirm it is right for your goals.
Does it hurt?
No. Most clients feel a strong but tolerable contraction, like an intense workout. Intensity is adjusted to your comfort throughout.
How long does a session take?
Sessions usually run 30 to 45 minutes per treatment area.
Who should avoid this treatment?
EMS is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical or metal device. Your esthetician screens for this during your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see the best results from a series spaced over a few weeks; your esthetician will recommend a plan.
When will I notice results?
Some clients feel their muscles working right away, with visible tone and definition building over the series.
